ABOUT US
Designed For Schools!
Imagine a classroom where every student moves with confidence, connects with peers, and truly feels like they belong. That’s the vision that inspired Nate Hendrickson and Leslie Frie to create ABLE in School, a dynamic K–12 physical education tool designed to bring all abilities together through movement. Grounded in the principles of the ABLE Framework, this tool supports the integration of students of all abilities through purposeful movement and peer connection. Along with Nate and Leslie, there is Clara, the ABLE AI Assistant, who can enhance the experience by leveraging the ABLE Framework to deliver customized resources, instructional strategies, and real-time support to educators. This ensures that implementation is both efficient and aligned with SHAPE America national standards, regardless of state or district requirements. Designed to integrate seamlessly into existing pacing calendars, ABLE in School empowers educators to make inclusion not only achievable but sustainable, transforming physical education into a space where all students feel confident, connected, and valued.

Inspired by TNT Kid’s Fitness & NFL Player Connor McGovern - Join schools like Carrington Public and Northern Cass, champions of inclusion and movement!
While visiting with a high-school gym class about the ABLE Games Day, I asked them what they would like their school to buy with the $1,000 prize, if they won. A young man with a visual impairment shot his hand up and said, "I would ask for balls that have bells in them so I can hear when they're coming to me." Needless to say, that P.E. teacher immediately ordered them. ABLE creates an opportunity for everyone to unlock potential, including educators!

"We are going to create a PE course where it is very inclusive, but we also have a peer mentor with them in that PE class. It is such a beautiful thing when we see our learners with special needs and our other learners working together."
