Our Story

TNT Kid's Fitness (TNT), a 501(c)(3) organization, located in Fargo, North Dakota, created in 2006. TNT is a gymnastics center that envisioned serving children of all abilities in an inclusive setting, allowing every child, regardless of their abilities, to engage in physical activity side-by-side with their peers. This framework is built upon our mission - "unlock potential through movement". Over the past 20 years, TNT has been serving over 35 schools within a 60-mile radius weekly, training paraprofessionals, general and adapted physical educators, special education teachers, and PT/OT therapists. As an organization, we see ABILITY in each individual we serve. Our passionate team of educators truly have the privilege to unlock potential each day. We are proud to share our expertise and knowledge so children can receive these benefits throughout their school day. ABLE has the innate ability to be a partner with schools across the country.

On the heels of this success, TNT was encouraged to develop a tool/supplement that could replicate these outcomes in schools everywhere. That tool is ABLE.

At TNT, we see ABILITY in every individual. Our passionate team of educators are privileged to help children unlock their potential every day, ensuring that movement and inclusion are embedded in every child’s school experience.

That’s why we’re proud to introduce ABLE—a powerful extension of our mission.

ABLE is a strong, adaptable partner for schools of any size, in any state. Whether you're a small rural district or a large urban school system, ABLE delivers TNT’s proven framework, expertise, and inclusive philosophy directly to your classrooms. With ABLE, schools gain access to tools, training, and support that empower educators and enrich the lives of students of all abilities.

Together, we can build a future where every child moves, learns, and grows—side by side.

Where ABLE Started

ABLE in School (ABLE)—a transformative initiative born from TNT Kid’s Fitness, where inclusivity and empowerment intersect. Rooted in TNT’s mission to “Unlock Potential Through Movement,” ABLE was created to extend the impact of TNT’s inclusive philosophy beyond our walls and into schools everywhere.

The inspiration for ABLE grew from the overwhelming success of the ABLE Games. A partnership with Connor McGovern that first started with an inclusive competition that brought together athletes of all abilities to compete side by side. The Games demonstrated the power of inclusive movement and the profound impact it can have on confidence, community, and connection. Seeing this success, TNT and Connor recognized the need to bring that same spirit of inclusion into everyday school environments.

ABLE In School was further made possible through this meaningful partnership with Connor McGovern, NFL player and passionate advocate for personalized learning and inclusion. Over the past five years, Connor has used his platform to raise awareness, raised significant dollars to produce ABLE, and personally visited schools to champion the ABLE movement. His dedication has helped bring ABLE to life in classrooms across the country, earning him the title of ABLE Champion.

Together, we are reshaping the landscape of physical education and fitness—ensuring that every child, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to move, grow, and thrive.

Connor McGovern and ABLE Games

The journey for Connor McGovern, NFL player, was his passionate advocation for inclusion. Connor’s vision was to create a space where individuals with disabilities could compete side by side with their peers. In 2021, that vision became a reality with the launch of the ABLE Games—the region’s first inclusive fitness competition. Just coming out of COVID in 2020, the event was a resounding success, showcasing the power of inclusive movement and the potential of every participant.

Inspired by the impact of the ABLE Games, John Porter, a special education director from a rural school district, approached TNT with a powerful question: “Can you bring this same inclusive experience into our schools?” That moment sparked the creation of ABLE in School. With nearly two decades of experience serving over 35 schools and training educators across disciplines, TNT recognized the opportunity to scale its inclusive model. Backed by Connor McGovern’s continued support and advocacy, TNT developed ABLE as a flexible, school-ready solution that empowers educators and enriches the lives of students of all abilities.
